Billy Fields Newsletter

Friday, June 22, 2001

Hi Everybody,

It's always a joy to write and tell you what the Lord is doing. So far this year I have witnessed 70 people call Jesus theirs for the first time in their life. Praise the Lord! So many of you have been so helpful to this ministry and words cannot express how grateful I am.

There are two things I would like to ask you to help me with if you can. The Bible says "we have not because we ask not," so I'm going to trust that you will not be offended by my asking you. If you have a computer and are on line, if you would go to
mp3.com/billy_fields you can request my songs to be played and it will pay this ministry royalties for every time you have it played. That will help us. Also, we have always sent out this newsletter without any charge. I will never charge for this, but as you know everything is so expensive anymore. If you could donate just one dollar for the letter, it would save this ministry over $8,000.00 a year. This would help tremendously. If you can afford to, I would be very grateful, but if you can't please don't feel bad just pray for us. God bless you for all you do to keep this work alive and touching so many lives.

In Jesus Name

Just A Thought
ONE DAY WE WILL SEE
"For mine eyes have seen thy salvation." Luke 2:30

What a thrill to see with the natural eye the fulfillment of prophecies for 4,000 years. The Bible says in Luke 2:25 that Simeon was waiting for that very day. He didn't know when or where exactly, but he knew that he would. He lived long enough to see 4,000 years of promise come to pass.

I can't help but wonder if some of the people in Jesus day lived long enough to see their deeds written down in the finished Scripture. Maybe the widow that gave the two mites, or the little boy who gave his lunch that day as Jesus fed the multitude, or Lazarus recalling the sound of his voice as he read the accounts.

Do you suppose the legion would recognize the accounts of his deliverance? The truth is that one day, each and every one of us will get to view the written accounts that we have done for Jesus. Can you imagine Barabbus as an old man being asked, "Are you the one for whom Jesus died?" Romans 2:6 says (speaking of Jesus), "Who will render to every man according to his deeds." Everything we ever do is written down and one day we will see.
